Portobello Sandwich WITH HENRY BAIN

Ingredients:

  • 1 portobello mushroom cap (washed)

  • 1 red bell pepper (halved and seeds removed)

  • 2 oz goat cheese

  • 1 hamburger bun (toasted)

  • 2 oz of baby arugula

  • Dash of kosher salt

  • Dash of black pepper

  • Dash of red pepper flake

  • 1 bottle of Y'all Company Kentucky Henry Bain Sauce


Prep:

Preheat grill to 375 degrees. Oil mushroom and red bell pepper and season with salt, black pepper and red pepper flake. Grill tomatoes and red bell pepper on each side for about 5 minutes or until lightly chard. Remove tomatoes and set aside. Oil the hamburger bun and place on the grill for about 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Mix:

On the bottom half of the hamburger bun, add mushroom, drizzle with Kentucky Henry Bain sauce and top with goat cheese. On the top half of the hamburger bun, add arugula and red bell pepper.

Eat:

Place the sandwich on a plate, serve hot and enjoy! Add a nice salad with the rest of the arugula as a side dish.
