Sauced with Josh: Episode 1

Ingredients: 

  • 5 Pork Chops (thick cut)

  • 5 Tablespoons of Southern Rub Mixture

  • 2 lbs of mixed baby potatoes (Cut in half)

  • 6 Tablespoons of Olive oil

  • 1 bottle of Tennessee Jezebel

  • Parsley (Chopped for garnish)

Y’all Southern Rub:

  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper

  • 1 Tablespoon of Cumin

  • 1 Tablespoon of Red Pepper Flake

  • 1 Tablespoon of Oregano

  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon of Kosher Salt


Prep: Place potatoes in the oven and cook for 12 minutes. Turn the potatoes and cook for another 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside. Heat your cast iron skillet (or over safe pan) to medium/high heat and olive oil . Sear on each side for 4-5 minutes or golden brown. P. Finish cooking in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Cook: Preheat oven to 425 degrees convection (450 degrees conventional). Once oven is preheated, drain water from potatoes and leave potatoes in the bowl. Drizzle potatoes with olive, salt, pepper and toss. Spray oven pan with nonstick spray and spread potatoes evenly on the pan. Place potatoes on the bottom rack for 12 minutes.

Eat: Remove from the oven pork chops from the oven and place on a plate with baby potatoes. Drizzle Tennessee Jezebel over pork chops and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
